We offer products that make it easy to access, synchronize and interpret data from customers’ financial software for specific use cases, such as onboarding suppliers to commercial card programs and underwriting business loans.

Who do we need, and why?

Our Engineering team enables Codat to consistently build and launch innovative and useful solutions for our clients.

This team sits In the Platform group, which focuses on two main areas - Service and Data. The Data Platform team is responsible for all “contributed data” at Codat, ensuring access to all customers' financial data is easy, secure, and compliant for all of our internal teams and clients. The Service Platform team focuses on building a great platform for our internal teams to use to accelerate building useful products, solving the shared concerns and operating the building blocks they use.

The platform teams sit at the heart of everything Codat does, with requirements for high quality software and processes that all of our internal teams and customers use.

We need a forward thinking, high level, bigger picture Quality Champion that wants to make quality a first class citizen in everything we do at Codat, bringing every team member along that journey with you.

As we grow our business and move up-market, the requirements for highly reliable, secure, compliant, and performant products increases. We believe the only way to achieve this is through great quality practices.

What you’ll bring to the team

Strong quality mindset, understanding quality is not just important after code is committed.
Good experience with programming and various forms of automation testing (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, xUnit, Specflow)
Lead mindset- you are happy to help multiple teams solve problems and identify potential issues and work collaboratively and proactively with other teams such as product to create solutions.
You are comfortable leading a test automation strategy for the team that delivers a fantastic client experience while also optimised for reliability and speed.
Experience with distributed event driven architectures, ability to understand and diagnose issues in widely distributed systems
You bring the quality voice to the room in planning meetings, ensuring who has accountability for the work done.
You actively work to mentor, coach and train the engineers in best practices when it comes to quality such that the overall culture of quality continuously improves.
