Codat is a venture-funded, API-first software vendor founded in January 2017, built to enable innovation within financial services through best-in-class technology. Using our API, businesses can seamlessly interact with small businesses’ financial software products to improve their customers’ experiences and better assess risk. Founded in 2017 and now a team of 11, our customers range from new fintech start-ups to large financial institutions. We have been growing revenues at about 25% each month in 2018.

The Business Development team works closely with Codat's clients, channel partners and own product and software engineering teams to ensure that both the integrations are maintained at the highest quality possible and Codat is the integration partner of choice for clients across the financial services landscape globally. This requires developing in-depth knowledge of the financial institutions and putting in place the key relationships that are critical to building consensus across large enterprises, prioritising integration quality and identifying additional commercial opportunities.

This role will be responsible for establishing, expanding, and managing relationships at some of the largest financial institutions and technology companies in the world. You will need to be able to handle meetings from product owners in the trenches to senior executives. The topics you will need to proficiently engage on will range from the technical aspects of data sharing, to API-led market trends and regulatory/policy topics to deepen understanding of Codat's integration platform.

What excites us

3+ years experience of financial services or IPaas / SaaS business development

Good knowledge of the financial services/fintech market is a plus

Deep negotiating and deal structuring skill set

Strong executive and sales presence
