What we do at Codat

Codat is a fast-growing technology company located in Clerkenwell, Central London. We are a universal API for small business financial data. 

We build developer-friendly infrastructure that gives businesses the ability to create their own next-generation products. We are well-funded with a large and growing number of enterprise and fintech clients - most recently we were awarded a £5m grant from the RBS Capability and Innovation Fund to help power our growth.

What you will be doing

The Business Development team works closely with Codat's clients, channel partners and own product and software engineering teams to ensure that both the integrations are maintained at the highest quality possible and Codat is the integration partner of choice for clients across the financial services landscape globally. This requires developing in-depth knowledge of the financial institutions and putting in place the key relationships that are critical to building consensus across large enterprises, prioritising integration quality and identifying additional commercial opportunities.

This role will be responsible for establishing, expanding, and managing relationships at some of the largest financial institutions and technology companies in the world. You will need to be able to handle meetings from product owners in the trenches to senior executives. The topics you will need to proficiently engage on will range from the technical aspects of data sharing, to API-led market trends and regulatory/policy topics to deepen understanding of Codat's integration platform.

  • 3+ years experience of financial services or IPaas / SaaS business development
  • Good knowledge of the financial services/fintech market is a plus
  • Deep negotiating and deal structuring skill set
