Product Marketing Manager

Job description

We're looking for our first Product Marketing Manager to drive demand and adoption for the growing suite of Codat products and functionality. Working alongside our established Product and Sales teams, you will be the link between our in-house product development and the outside world. 

The Codat solution is globally unique - no other company offers a product that solves the same problems. The challenge this creates is how to articulate the unique value proposition to potential clients, who range from point-of-sale providers to credit bureaus, and from FinTech start-ups to top 5 UK banks. 

As an expert in the markets we operate and with the agency to be the public voice of the Codat product, you will take responsibility for understanding demand, product positioning, go-to-market strategy, adoption, customer communication and feedback.

We provide a simple API for connectivity to the market leading accounting, banking and commerce systems globally. We handle the complexity of managing and standardising third-party API connections and schema so that our clients don’t have to.

Requirements

What we need your help with… 

  • Positioning - Establishing and improving the messaging of our product’s value propositions within the markets they are relevant, creating narratives that resonate with customers and differentiates Codat from our competitors. 

  • Communication - Maintaining a consistent channel of communication with our current and potential customers, to keep them up to date and informed about Codat product development. 

  • Demand - Planning go-to-market strategies, campaigns and messaging for new products and features, which will drive demand for the Codat solution with prospects.

  • Collateral - Produce and maintain a library of content for sales team enablement. Ensure that all material being communicated externally is of a high quality and has a consistent message, brand and tone. 

  • Feedback - Identifying client success stories that can be written into engaging case studies and ensuring any constructive feedback or new ideas are captured. 

About you...

  • Eager to take on the challenge of building a new product marketing function.

  • Previous experience in a product marketing role, ideally B2B SaaS. 

  • Comfortable explaining technical concepts to a commercial audience and vice-versa.

  • Ability to understand a variety of client business models across accounting, finance, payments and insurance.
