We're looking for a talented and dedicated Solutions Engineer to lead our client onboarding journey.
Getting involved from the final stages of the sales process, you will ensure that potential clients have a documented understanding of how to use the Codat API to the best solve their business needs. Once a client, you will ensure the process for them to get up and running with the Codat API is as smooth as possible, proactively helping them overcome any issues during their initial technical integration with Codat.

What we need your help with…
Evangelism - Become a subject matter expert in Codat’s sector and a proponent for our technology and solution.
Design - Understand clients’ requirements and help them design their system interaction with our API to get the most value from the Codat product.
Documentation - Create technical integration documentation and / or prototypes for our prospective clients, to ensure there is clarity in how they can use the Codat product to solve their business needs. Record any product enhancements requested by the client and liaise with the product team to manage delivery and client expectations.
Onboarding - Own the journey for Codat clients of getting started with the API and assist technical and non-technical stakeholders through this process. Constantly drive to improve the process with the goal of minimising time for clients to get up and running in future.
Communication - As well as working closely with our clients you will manage interactions with different internal teams where necessary: Engineering, Product, Support and Business Development.
Management - Ensure that the portfolio of clients currently onboarding with Codat has traction through this stage and provide extra support where necessary, particularly for larger clients, including but not limited to additional resources, user training or workshops.
Proven experience developing or working with API or web applications, ideally experience in a similar role at another SaaS company.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or another technical subject and hands-on coding experience.
Proven ability to explain technical concepts to a commercial audience and vice-versa.
Experience working closely with clients, including those in the sales cycle.
Some basic knowledge of accounting/finance or a proven numerical ability is nice to have.
